I am Karuk Tribal member from the Klamath and Salmon Rivers. I am from the villages of Katimiin (upper falls) and Utimiin (lower falls). I am from a family of Dance Makers. I Dance in the Brush Dance, Flower Dance, War Dance and the Pikiyavish (World Renewal) dance and participated in a Jump Dance to reclaim our Tribal land. I am a traditional gambler and singer/drummer. I am a founding member and Chair of the Karuk Language Committee. I am currently the Operations Director of the Northern California Indian Development Council (www.ncidc.org), a non-profit that meets the community development needs of American Indians throughout California. I live with my wife Wendy and son Kyle in Arcata California.
