Sadly, BAMN was not fully aware that the Native American student applicants are considered to be a Political Entity, thereby falling into the exempt category when being considered for admission to ALL University of California campuses. BAMN needs to cease and desist its effort to include Native Americans in its lawsuit. Native Americans don't need HELP from anyone to address this issue. We've been working on this issue since 1996; so "the johnny come lately" activists need to do their homework and quit forcing the issue upon Native Americans! We foresaw the problems well before Proposition 209, and we had dedicated Native American students/staff/Faculty in place to address the issue with the University of California students/staff/Faculty and the Board of Regents. This point is MOOT for Native Americans....
