I totally agree! It's wrong and having Indian type mascots just continues stereotyping and promotes misinformation about the First Nations People. If the Universities and sports wanted to honor the Native People they would do better to sponsor Native American Charities or ask how they could facilitate better condition of some of the very poor reservations or sponsor Native Students who want to go to college.
