- The George Lucas Educational Foundation Grant Information List
- AAUW Career Development Grants: December 15, 2011. These grants from the American Association of University Women support women who already have a bachelor's degree and would like to advance or change their careers or re-enter the work force. Grants range from $2,000 to $12,000.

Lexus Eco Challenge: Deadline is December 16, 2011. Registration is open for the second challenge, on the theme of air and climate (the first, on land and water, closed on October 31). Students in middle school (6-8) or high school (9-12) can enter in teams of five to ten students and up to two teacher advisors. Sixteen teams will each win $10,000 and an invitation to the final challenge in early 2012 for a chance to win one of eight $15,000 prizes and two $30,000 grand prizes.

New Teacher Survival Central Sweepstakes: Deadline is December 17, 2011. Teachers at any U.S. K-12 school are eligible to enter this sweekpstakes sponsored by Discovery Education.
