I wrote to Pres Obama, VP Biden, Cal Senator Boxer, and Sec'y of Defense Robert Gates to remind them that Geronimo was not a terrorist, a threat, or the enemy. I also told them that the Native community does not approve of the military use of our cultural names in weapons of war (Tomahawk missile, Comanche helicopter, etc.) that destroy indigenous peoples around the globe.
